Embark on an unforgettable journey through Canada’s most awe-inspiring landscapes—beginning with the Rocky Mountaineer train as it winds through the majestic Rockies, and culminating in a once-in-a-lifetime expedition cruise through the legendary Northwest Passage.

Day 1 - Vancouver

Arrive in Vancouver and transfer to your hotel for a 2 night stay.

Day 2 - Vancouver

Vibrant and coastal, Vancouver is a dynamic gateway to the Pacific. Surrounded by mountains and ocean, it offers world-class dining, diverse culture, and stunning natural beauty. Explore Stanley Park, stroll historic Gastown, or unwind by the waterfront—this city effortlessly combines west coast charm with urban energy.

Day 3 & 4 - Rock Mountaineer

Board the Rocky Mountaineer for their iconic Passage to the West route, which takes you through the magnificent Rockies to Banff. Travelling in the domed GoldLeaf carriage ensures spectacular views, sublime dining and impeccable service. Overnight is in Kamloops. On arrival in Banff transfer to your hotel for a 2 night stay.

Day 5 - Banff

Set in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Banff offers a perfect mix of mountain charm and outdoor adventure. Explore scenic hiking trails, soak in the famous Banff Upper Hot Springs, or take the gondola for panoramic views. The town also boasts great dining, shopping, and wildlife viewing.

Day 6 - Calgary

Transfer to Calgary.

Day 7 - Quark Expeditions Cruise

This morning board your charter flight to Resolute Bay for embarkation. There is time to explore this small Arctic town before boarding the zodiac that will take you to your ship.

Day 8 - 11 - Canada’s High Arctic

Cruise the Canadian Arctic aboard Ocean Explorer, tracing historic routes with expert guides. Visit Inuit communities, ancient sites, glaciers, and polar bear territory, including Beechey Island and Grise Fiord. Experience wildlife, culture, and dramatic Arctic landscapes up close.

Day 12 & 13 - Smiths Sound

Before leaving Canada your expedition ship will endeavour to cruise as far north as possible, exploring both sides of Smith Sound. The sound is an uninhabited passage between Ellesmere Island and Greenland.

Day 14 - Greenland

Your first stop in Greenland is Qaanaaq, formerly known as Thule, this is one of the northernmost towns in the world. Here, local Inuit share their culture and traditions, and the museum sheds more light on what it’s like living near the top of the world.

Day 15 - Cruising Greenland

As you spend the day sailing south along the west coast of Greenland your onboard experts will prepare you for the Arctic adventures ahead.

Day 16 - 20 - West Greenland

Discover Greenland’s west coast: cruise past glaciers, explore vibrant villages like Uummannaq and Ilulissat, visit ancient sites, and experience Inuit culture, kayaking, and stunning Arctic landscapes from Eqip Sermia to Itilleq on this unforgettable northern adventure.

Day 21 - Disembark and fly to Reykjavik

A final zodiac ride will take you to shore for the charter flight to Reykjavik. Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to your hotel.

Day 22 - Departure

Transfer to the airport at your leisure for your flight home.
