Day 1 - Banff
Upon arrival at Calgary Airport, a private transfer will take you to Banff. Watch as the prairie land turns into the peaks of the Rockies as you approach this iconic town in Banff National Park where you will spend the next two nights.
Day 2 - Banff
Today a full day tour of the surrounding mountains, lakes and waterfalls is included. Visit the most treasured spots in the Canadian Rockies on this amazing excursion through Banff and Yoho National Parks. Experience the evolution of the land and discover how it has shaped the appearance of natural wonders found in these spectacular mountain settings.
Day 3 - Jasper
Depart this morning for Jasper along Canada’s most scenic mountain roadway, the Icefields Parkway, passing turquoise lakes, waterfalls and over 100 glaciers. Ride onto the Athabasca Glacier in an Ice Explorer, then experience the Columbia Icefield Skywalk, a glass-floored platform extending 30 metres over the Sunwapta Valley. Arrive in Jasper later and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 4 - Jasper
Today is a free day in Jasper. You may wish to soar up Whistlers Mountain on the SkyTram and explore the high alpine with panoramic views of Jasper National Park.
Day 5 - Rocky Mountaineer
All aboard Rocky Mountaineer this morning as you are collected from your hotel and transferred to the station. Enjoy breakfast and lunch in your bi-level GoldLeaf coach as your expert onboard hosts narrate the scenery and history of the majestic Canadian Rockies. Arrive in Kamloops for a 1-night hotel stay.
Day 6 - Rocky Mountaineer
Set off on the train again this morning, as you make your way into Vancouver. Arrival is usually in the evening, where you may wish to walk to the waterfront and enjoy a drink or some of Vancouver’s best restaurants.
Day 7 - Explora Alaska Journey
Board the Explora III today as you begin your journey through majestic shores and wilderness serenity.
Day 8 - 15 - Explora III
Glide through the Inside Passage, where whales and wildlife thrive. Discover Wrangell’s Tlingit heritage, Sitka’s volcanic landscapes and Russian history, and Haines’ eagles and bears. Cruise Endicott Arm’s fjords to Ward Cove’s rainforests, before concluding in Victoria’s historic charm and vibrant Vancouver. Day 16 - Vancouver
Disembark in Vancouver today and make your way to your downtown hotel for a 2-night stay. Spend the rest of the day wandering the seawall around Stanley Park or venture to Granville Island Market to sample artisan fare and local specialities.
Day 17 - Whistler
Today enjoy a day trip to Whistler. Depart and return on the scheduled service flight of your choice and spend the day exploring. The flights to and from Whistler are a must see as you fly past rugged peaks, snow-capped mountains and over rushing rivers and the emerald green lakes.
Day 18 - Departure
Your journey comes to an end as you check-out from your hotel and make your way to Vancouver Airport head of your departing flight.
