Lying like precious jewels in the Indian Ocean, the islands of the Seychelles are a tropical paradise of vivid colours, rich marine life and wildlife. Embark on an unforgettable adventure and then relax with a few days to enjoy the best of island life at the end.
Day 1
Arrive in Mahe and transfer to your yacht for an afternoon departure.
Day 2 - Sainte Anne Channel – Cousin Island
Encircled by a national marine park, Sainte Anne Island is home to some truly incredible marine life including more than 150 species of fish. It’s also now an important nesting site for Hawksbill turtles. From here you’ll cruise on to Cousin Island, a haven for seabirds.
Day 3 - Praslin
Praslin is quite simply dazzling. Emerald waters and gleaming white sand beaches fringed by tropical jungle and vast granite boulders. Anse Lazio beach regularly tops ‘best beach in the world’ lists and there’s an equally impressive reef just offshore. In the centre of the island is the UNESCO World Heritage listed Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve.
Day 4 - La Digue – Curieuse Island
Set sail early morning for La Digue. This is the smallest of the 3 populated islands in the Seychelles and is just as beautiful as the rest. It’s pink hued beaches are truly spectacular. Depart for Curieuse Island this evening.
Day 5 - Curieuse Island
Home to hundreds of resident Aldabra giant tortoises, this is a rugged and unspoilt island. The island is naturally beautiful and was once a quarantine station, and the original doctors house is now a museum and visitor centre.
Day 6 - Aride Island
Aride Island is a nature reserve in the Indian Ocean. For nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers it is quite simply paradise. More then 30 rare bird species nest in the lush vegetation which lies amongst fine sand beaches, coconut palms and soaring cliffs.
Day 7 - Mahe
Mahe is the largest of the islands and home to the capital Victoria. You’ll find lovely beaches studded with granite boulders and the Morne Seychellois National Park.
Day 8 - 11 - Mahe
Disembark in Mahe this morning and transfer to your hotel for a 4-night stay. Choose to stay on Mahe, or one of the other islands if time allows.
Day 12 - Mahe – UK
Depart Mahe for your onward flight.
